Friends Don’t Let Friends Get Kanji Tattoos

…and here’s why:

Who knows what they were meant to say, but here are some highlights:

1. 馬鹿外人: Baka Gaijin, or stupid foreigner.

2. 笑 is the kanji for laugh. Except that whoever wrote it did it in the mirror. D’oh!

3. 反対者,民族主義者, ファシスト党員: Dissenter, nationalist, fascist. Or in other words, a real badass.

The rest range from cute (banzai in hiragana!?) to odd (父, Dad?).
